In the interest of providing our valued customers with full transparency and confidence when purchasing singles from our store, The Card Cave has established the following Card Condition Policy.
All individual cards listed for sale on our website are assessed and uploaded as Near Mint (NM) condition unless otherwise explicitly stated. While we take great care in evaluating each card, it is important to understand that Near Mint cards are not guaranteed to be gem-mint, pack-fresh, or PSA 10 quality.
Below is a detailed outline of what customers should expect when purchasing Near Mint singles from The Card Cave.
NEAR MINT CONDITION GUIDELINES
Cards listed as Near Mint may display minor, non-structural imperfections consistent with industry standards for NM condition. These may include, but are not limited to:

Corners: Minor chipping or light wear

Surface Indentations: Minor, only visible under close inspection or certain lighting

Scratches / Scuffing: Minor surface marks

Discoloration: None

Creases: None

These characteristics align with commonly accepted Near Mint grading standards used across the trading card industry.
IMPORTANT CONDITION DISCLOSURES

Near Mint cards may not meet professional grading standards for a PSA 10, BGS 10, or CGC 10.

Minor imperfections can occur due to printing, cutting, packaging, or handling during manufacturing, even in pack-fresh cards.

Cards are sold ungraded unless clearly stated otherwise in the product listing.

Surface marks, centering variance, or minor factory defects may exist and are considered acceptable within Near Mint condition.
